Go to the shopThe City of Jyväskylä presented its 2025 conference and event awards on January 28 at a ceremony held at Sataman Viilu. The Public Event Award went to Jyväskylän Kesä, which we are truly honored to receive.
”Jyväskylän Kesä is the oldest cultural festival in the Nordic countries and a trailblazer in the Finnish festival scene. ”In its 70th anniversary year, it combined tradition with innovation, reached a diverse range of audiences, and brought performances to the city that are otherwise rare,” says the marketing manager for events at the City of Jyväskylä Jaana Ruponen.
”Warm thanks to the City of Jyväskylä for this recognition. We share the joy and pride of the award with all the creators, performers, audiences, and partners of the 70th-anniversary festival,” commented the festival director on receiving the award. Kyösti Ylikulju
