If we cannot deliver an order, we will inform you without delay and refund your payment.

3. Delivery and pickup of physical products

We deliver within Finland, and to other countries by separate agreement. Delivery usually takes 2–5 business days, and the delivery fee is shown in the shopping cart. If you choose pickup when ordering, you can collect your products from the Jyväskylän Kesä office at an agreed time. During the festival week, products are also sold at the venues.

4. Tickets

Delivery

Tickets are sent by email after the order. The customer is responsible for providing the correct email address. If your ticket does not arrive, please contact customer service and we will send it again.

No right of withdrawal

Under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (chapter 6, section 16), there is no right of withdrawal for tickets to events held on a specific date. Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded except in the situations described in section 5.

Discount tickets

Eligibility for a discounted ticket must be proven at the entrance. If eligibility cannot be proven, the ticket is not valid.

Ticket validity

A ticket is valid for one entry. If tickets for an event are personal or exchanged for a wristband, this is stated on the event page. Tickets may not be resold commercially.

Personal assistant

A personal assistant accompanying a customer attends free of charge. For some events, a separate assistant ticket must be reserved. This is indicated in the ticket shop.

5. Event cancellation and changes

  • Cancellation. If an event is cancelled, we will refund the ticket price to the original payment method within 14 days of the cancellation announcement. Any amount paid with a culture benefit is returned to the benefit account. Service and delivery fees are not refunded.
  • Postponement. If an event is moved to a new date, the ticket remains valid for the new date. If the new date does not suit you, you can request a refund within 14 days of the announcement.
  • Programme changes. We reserve the right to change the programme, schedules and performers. A change or cancellation by an individual performer does not entitle you to a refund if the event otherwise takes place. If the headliner of a multi-day or multi-artist event cancels, we will announce any refunds case by case.
  • Weather and safety. Outdoor events take place in all weather. An event may be interrupted for safety reasons. Unless the whole event is cancelled, an interruption does not entitle you to a refund.

6. Participation in the event

Event-specific terms, such as age limits, wristband exchange and prohibited items, are stated on the event page and are binding on the ticket holder. Events may include security checks, and security staff have the right to refuse entry or remove a person from the venue. In such cases, the ticket is not refunded.

Our events are photographed and filmed, and the material is used in festival communications. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

7. Right of withdrawal for physical products

You can cancel an order for physical products within 14 days of receiving them by notifying us at kesa@jyvaskylankesa.fi or by using the withdrawal form below. The product must be unused. We will refund the product price and the original delivery fee within 14 days of receiving the product back. The customer pays the return shipping costs unless the product is defective or was delivered incorrectly.

8. Complaints

Report the defect or error as soon as possible by e-mail to kesa@jyvaskylankesa.fi. Please include a description of the problem and the order number. A defective product will be exchanged or refunded.

9. Processing of personal data

Customer data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy .

10. Limitation of Liability

We reserve the right to correct obvious errors, such as a clear pricing error. We are not liable for force majeure or for indirect damages, unless mandatory legislation provides otherwise.

11. Payment services

Card, online banking and mobile payments are processed by Paytrail Plc, which appears as the payee on your bank statement. Culture benefit payments are processed by Epassi and Edenred.

12. Applicable law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes are primarily resolved through negotiation. Consumers may also refer the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi).
