Go to the shopJyväskylä Festival (Jyväskylän Kesä) is the oldest continuously running city festival in the Nordic countries. Launched in 1955, the event quickly rose to become one of Europe’s most significant summer events. Jyväskylä has hosted the world’s leading composers, architects, musicians, filmmakers, philosophers, researchers, dancers, and theater makers. Since its inception, the festival’s core has been high-quality artistic content, the presentation of new works and artists, social themes, and an organizational philosophy that engages the audience.
