Wisdom isn't always about the subject matter and content, but also about the speaker's position and rhetoric. Therefore, it's worth considering what all is being done today under the guidance of seemingly wise and loud rhetoric—and whether it's even wise to be wise anymore. And how do we recognize true wisdom, and is it appreciated in our society? How can we create space for wisdom through upbringing and culture? The program is chaired by a researcher Marleena Mustola, and the researchers included in the working group Tiia-Mari Hovila, Simo Monto, Tiia Heikkilä and Tuomo Virtanen.

Minni Matikainen works as a researcher at the University of Jyväskylä's Teacher Education Faculty. His research focuses ontransformativeinto learning processes for becoming a teacher and the development of thinking.
