Children's Summer: Lystimökki

Playful Exhibition: Pictures that have escaped their frames, moving and touching. Lystimökki (Fun cabin) is an art space open to everyone, in the middle of Mäki-Matti Family Park!

Lystimökki teaches about nature through play and hands-on activities, thus potentially strengthening the child's relationship with nature. How can animals cross roads? And what are these rides like? Come and learn and play with nature themes!

The Lystimökki will feature the following animals through colorful art: pike, hare, peregrine falcon, moose, centipede, and viper.

The cabin utilizes various techniques and materials, such as wood, textiles, and visual, textile, and 3D art. The cabin offers experiences for multiple senses: things to feel, play with, move, and touch. Children can observe the mechanisms themselves and how the artworks move.
