General terms and conditions – online store

1. General

These terms and conditions apply to orders placed in the online store of Jyväskylä Festival Association ry (business ID 1062184-7).

All prices include value-added tax (VAT), unless stated otherwise.

2. Ordering

Placing an order is done by adding products to the shopping cart and paying for the order through Paytrail. A confirmation of a successful order will be sent via email.

If the order cannot be processed, we will inform the customer immediately.

3. Product Delivery and Pickup

Physical products

  • Delivery by mail to the customer's stated address.
  • Delivery time is usually 2-5 business days.

Pickup

  • Available for pickup at the Jyväskylän Kesä office (Seminaarinkatu 13, 40100 Jyväskylä).
  • Times are indicated in connection with the online store or in the order confirmation.

4. Digital products, tickets, and intangible services

Digital tickets and deadline-bound events / courses

According to the Consumer Protection Act Event and course tickets are non-refundable., when the event has a predetermined date (KSL 6:16).

Tickets will not be refunded unless the event is canceled.

Delivery of electronic tickets

  • Tickets will be delivered electronically to the customer's email address after the order is placed.
  • The customer is responsible for ensuring the email address is correct.

5. Right of Return (physical products)

The customer has the right to cancel an order for physical products within 14 days of receiving the product.

Return Policy

  • The product must be unused and in its original condition.
  • Returns must be reported in advance: kesa@jyvaskylankesa.fi
  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or shipped incorrectly.

6. Complaints

Report any potential defects or errors as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days from receipt.

Please include a description of the problem and your contact information.

A defective product will be exchanged or refunded.

7. Processing of personal data

Customer data is processed in accordance with the Jyväskylä Festival Association's Privacy Policy. The description can be found on our website..

8. Limitation of Liability

  • We reserve the right to correct obvious errors (e.g., clear pricing errors).
  • We are not responsible for force majeure events that prevent delivery or event hosting.
  • We are not liable for indirect damages unless otherwise provided by mandatory legislation.

9. Payment Service (Paytrail)

Payments are processed by Paytrail Plc.

Paytrail appears as the recipient of the payment on your bank statement and is liable for damages related to the payment in accordance with the law.

10. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

Finnish law applies to these terms.

Potential disputes shall primarily be resolved through negotiation. The consumer may also refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board for consideration.
