The Kala Opera: Wolf-Ferrari - *The Secret of Susanna*

The Kala opera presents a beautiful Ermanno Wolff-Ferrari The "Salonkiooppera" production of Paisiello's "Il segreto di Susanna," composed in 1909. The opera will be performed in an authentic salon setting at Sipinen Salongi! This is La Kala's premiere performance.

It is the early 1900s. Count Gil suspects his wife, Countess Susanna, of infidelity: Susanna goes out with strange excuses, encourages the Count to spend time at the club, and most strangely, Susanna smells of tobacco, and Count Gil doesn't smoke! The Count believes Susanna is hiding a terrible secret, and the servant Sante also behaves very strangely, but... Susanna has a secret: a small vice that in her time was very unsuitable for a genteel lady. Will Susanna be exposed, and will the story have a happy ending? Shh! That's still a secret...
