Children's Summer: Oikokatu Painting

The traditional Oikokatu painting is back! This year the event will be held Thursday 2.7. at 10 AM - 12 PM.

The event brings together children's culture and the continuity between generations. Over the decades, many now-adults have left their artistic vision on the street, and a small piece of it still glimmers there, with new generations always bringing their own works to the street.

At the event, you can create your own unique masterpiece on the Oikokatu sidewalk, which will shine with its colors and unique artworks for passersby. The joyful and colorful event is open to everyone and does not require pre-registration. Come leave your mark on a large communal artwork to Oikokatu!

Please note that paint may splatter and make a mess during painting. Therefore, please bring clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting paint stains on. Otherwise, all you need to bring is a cheerful mood; you'll find paints and brushes on site!

The event is subject to weather conditions. If the weather is rainy during the event, there will be a replacement event day. Friday 3.7. from 10 AM to 12 PM. We will update our website with any changes as soon as possible.
