Exhibition: Sensescape – sense ● scape May 16 – September 6, 2026

Kirsi Neuvonen is a beloved graphic artist, particularly known as a reformer of Finnish color graphics. Her art combines sensitivity, bold experimentation, and multilayered visual thinking. Neuvonen draws inspiration for her works from antiquity, art history, and girlhood, among other things. The extensive solo exhibition offers a unique look into the artist's career, themes, and techniques.

Gallery 5.6.–6.9.2026 Tourujoki

Join an adventure where nature and art come to life! The Tourujoki Art Exhibition is a joyful and interactive art exhibition where visitors can experiment, touch, move, and wonder. The exhibition's theme is Jyväskylä's own beloved Tourujoki river, with water that flows in the middle of the city, birds, and forest. The exhibition is produced in collaboration with students from the University of Jyväskylä's Department of Teacher Education.

For Jyväskylä Festival attendees, admission to the exhibitions is free. For others, admission is available with an entrance fee or a Museum Card; admission is free for those under 24. You can get the Jyväskylä Festival visitor benefit by showing your ticket to the Jyväskylä Festival event or a photo of the event at the art museum's information desk.
