Jyväskylä Big Band & Jepa Lambert – Boogie Wonderland

Jepa Lambert, one of Finland's top singers, will arrive as the soloist of the Jyväskylä Big Band at the atmospheric Toivola Old Courtyard at the beginning of July. The night wont only contain slow-paced summer night vibes, but the evening is filled with energetic blasts straight from the 1970s! Earth, Wind & Fire is an American R&B band that was at the height of their popularity in the 1970s. EWF is one of the most successful bands in history, with over 100 million albums sold worldwide. The band's music includes elements of 1970s R&B, soul, funk and disco.

Jepa Lambert is a Finnish soul singer known for her pink hair and her versatile musical talent. Jepa works as a soloist, session musician, vocal coach, and backing vocalist on various projects. She also does voice acting and dubbing work for different commercials and cartoons. Jepa can be spotted performing with the band in many popular TV shows like "Elämäni biisi," "The Voice of Finland," "Tähdet Tähdet," and "UMK.".

Jyväskylä Big Band is one of Finland's most active big bands. It has collaborated with many international soloists and composers, and has carried out cross-artistic productions. In addition to its own concerts, JBB has toured actively in Finland's clubs, concert halls, and festivals. Ilkka Mäkitalo has served as the orchestra's conductor and artistic director since 1995.
