The Finnish artist is among the most interesting Aili Järvelä Järvelä has amazed audiences and critics with her wide-ranging talent. She is known for their strong folk music background, and above all, as a skilled singer-songwriter, composer, and soulful performer. Järvelä has released strong solo albums, composed music for professional orchestras, big bands, choirs, and various instrumental ensembles, written a successful musical, worked as a freelance musician in several groups, and played in award-winning folk music ensembles.

Järvelä's song "Roihuvuori," released in 2020, was chosen among the 50 best lyrics of the millennium in a reader poll by Helsingin Sanomat. His first musical, "Katrina" (2024), received rave reviews and the audience's unqualified approval. Her latest solo album "VUORI" (2025) was nominated for an Emma Award, won Indie Awards' Best Album of the Year, and received the Teosto Prize.

The concert will feature music by Järvelä, performed by guitarist Sigurður Rögnvaldsson. Rögnvaldsson is a guitarist, composer, and producer based in Helsinki whose work fluidly moves between jazz, contemporary music, and free improvisation.
