GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS – ONLINE STORE

1. General

These terms apply to purchases made in the online stores operated by Jyväskylän festivaaliyhdistys ry (Business ID 1062184-7): https://jyvaskylankesa.fi and https://puistojuhlat.fi.

All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.

2. Placing an Order

Orders are placed by adding products to the shopping cart and completing payment via Paytrail.
A confirmation email is sent after a successful purchase.

If an order cannot be fulfilled, we will notify the customer as soon as possible.

3. Delivery and Pickup

Physical products

  • Delivered to the address provided by the customer.
  • Typical delivery time: 2–5 business days.

Pickup

  • Items can be picked up at the Jyväskylän Kesä office (Seminaarinkatu 13, 40100
  • (Jyväskylä).
  • Pickup times are posted on the website or included in the order confirmation.

4. Digital Tickets and Intangible Services

Event and course tickets

According to consumer protection law, Tickets for events and courses with a fixed date are non-refundable once the purchase is complete (Finnish Consumer Protection Act, Chapter 6, Section 16).

Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled.

Delivery of digital tickets

  • Digital tickets are sent to the email address provided during the ordering process.
  • The customer is responsible for providing a valid email address.

5. Right of Withdrawal (Physical Products Only)

Customers may return physical products within 14 days upon receipt of the item.

Return Policy

  • The item must be unused and in its original condition.
  • The customer must notify us in advance at kesa@jyvaskylankesa.fi.
  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or incorrect.

6. Complaints

Please report any defects as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days after receiving the product. Submit complaints to kesa@jyvaskylankesa.fi, including a description and your contact information.

Defective products will be replaced or refunded.

7. Processing of Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Notice of Jyväskylän festivaaliyhdistys ry,
available on our website.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • We reserve the right to correct obvious errors in pricing or availability.
  • We are not liable for delays or issues caused by force majeure.
  • We are not liable for indirect damages unless required by mandatory law.

9. Payment Service Provider (Paytrail)

Payments are processed by Paytrail Oyj.

Paytrail appears as the payee on bank statements and is responsible for payment-related obligations.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes should first be resolved through negotiation.

Consumers may also refer disputes to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.
