Music plays a major role in Jyväskylän Kesä. The lineup includes, among others, the charismatic Arja Saijonmaa, who will perform a unique program tailored specifically for Jyväskylän Kesä at the closing concert. The festival week will also feature, among others, a duo playing a single piano four-handed Piano for Two, and soak in the atmosphere Stevie Wonder 75th working on the tribute Aija Puurtinen, Antti Kleemola and Lasse Hirvi performed by the band. So, as usual, expect brilliant lineups and unforgettable performances!

Performing arts will offer riotous humor and grand emotions. For example, audiences will get to know the actor Siiri Angerkoski and known for the Parikkala Sculpture Park Veijo Rönkkönen into life, as well as adventuring in relationship complications La Kalan "The opera features two characters, Rita and her two spouses. In addition, Children's Summer, as usual, offers many different plays and workshops designed to be experienced with the whole family: this coming summer, Puss in Boots and Pippi Longstocking will adventure on stage, as well as the hilarious duo Räkä and Roiskis.".

During Jyväskylän Kesän, we’ll also have the chance to explore the newly released speech program. The culture-themed talk program delves into the secrets of civilized conversation, explores the causes and consequences of overconsumption, and teaches how to turn your own yard or balcony into a paradise for pollinators. In addition, our website features a diverse selection of art exhibitions, museums, and other events you can visit during Jyväskylän Kesä. Festival visitors can access some of the exhibitions free of charge.
