\u201dWisdom happens in communication. If wisdom were ideas, they would already be empty. <\/span>phrases.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/em> (<\/span>Pekka Sauri<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wisdom is considered an ideal that we can strive for. But what is meant by wisdom? How does it manifest, and can it be learned, taught, or consciously developed? We will examine wisdom from several perspectives, such as the multifaceted nature of thinking and as a phenomenon intertwined with life experiences, personality development, and human inner growth.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Perspectives on wisdom will be examined by a Doctor of Philosophy, non-fiction author, and multidisciplinary social influencer Pekka Sauri<\/strong>, university lecturer who studied children's wisdom Terhi Ek<\/strong> Research director of the Faculty of Education and Psychology and the Gerontology Research Center Katja Kokko<\/strong>. The event will feature a video greeting from the Director General of the International Baccalaureate Organization. Olli-Pekka Heinonen<\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Although wisdom is often associated with aging and accumulating life experience, we also reflect on the wisdom of children, which is an emerging research topic. Wisdom always includes compassion and a positive outlook on human strengths and potential \u2013 do we need this kind of understanding more in these restless times? The discussion of this opportunity is accompanied by a docent who has published several works on the developmental psychology of adulthood and wisdom. Eeva K.
