The City of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 presented its 2025 conference and event awards on January 28 at a ceremony held at Sataman Viilu. The Public Event Award went to Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n Kes\u00e4, which we are truly honored to receive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ky\u00f6sti Ylikulju<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Two conference awards were given out this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The 6th Oikos Finland Conference, an ecological research conference organized by the Department of Biological and Environmental Science at the University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, was the largest conference held in the city in 2025 with its 417 participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The 23rd International Plone Conference, organized by the digital services of the University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, brought together 180 people from around the world. The conference focused on open-source application development and Python, the world's most popular programming language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2025 Congress Delegate, Professor Arja S\u00e4\u00e4kslahti <\/strong>Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 Summer School, organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Science and Information Technology at the University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, has been awarded.
