Tallari and Loiskis in concert again! Loiskis will bring selected pieces from his hilarious children’s song repertoire, Tallari will offer his Spielmann music and the whole concert programme will be performed by the two orchestras together. The concert, for children and adults alike, will also feature an arsenal of instruments.

Tallari is the first and only folk music ensemble to receive state aid, and it holds dozens of concerts, school concerts and workshops every year.From the cradle of Pelimann music in Kaustinen, Finland, Tallari has been keeping the flame of Finnish roots music alive for 35 years, with one foot deep in tradition and the other firmly in the present, lighting the treasures of the archives and creating new ones. Tallari gives concerts and training, organises workshops, collaborative events and jams.

The members of Loiskis are Pekka Nättinen, Tomi Nurmi, Leevi Pukki and Marianne Oivo. Katri Haukilahti, Arto Järvelä and Sampo Korva will play in the recital.
